Duration and Dissolution

How long the Entity exists, when it is dissolved, and what it may do afterwards.

  • Clause id: dissolution-duration@1.0.0
  • Activated by the dissolution-duration module
  • Composes after: ## Article VI - Duration and Change (a document package may override this through its anchors map)
  • Placeholders: term

Item numbers in this clause are canonical: they open at 1.1 under the clause's own heading and never assume a host document's numbering. A consumer composing the clause renumbers it to continue the target document.

Source: universal-constitution/v2.2-reduction.md@2026-09-13 (Entity.ID's own drafting); clause 1.2 added for registrars that require a stated dissolution date Licence: Apache-2.0
